MEC Motlhabane to launch Provincial Road Safety Steering Committee to coordinate safety activities
North West MEC for Community Safety and Transport Management, Dr Mpho Motlhabane will reinforce the fight for safer roads through establishment of the Road Safety Steering Committee. Comprising of internal and external stakeholders involved in the road safety and law enforcement at large, the committee is set to streamline and coordinate all Road Safety activities so as to have a uniform approach throughout the Province. All activities are expected to lead towards decrease of road crashes, fatalities and crime which ultimately impacts negatively on the ability to provide a safe and secure environment.
