VENTURE VILLAGE BEING DE-BUSHED IN A FIGHT AGAINST CRIME

The MEC for the Department of Community Safety and Transport Management, Dr Mokgantshang Motlhabane will again this week lead the departmental team as they continue with concerted effort to fight against crime by embarking on a De-bushing Letsema Campaign at Groot Marico - Venture Village, Ramotshere Moiloa Local Municipality.
The area has been identified due to the crime trends and patterns observed which have led to the increased level occurrences of crime in the area.

It is on these basis that the department, as part of the Mandela Month activities, set to conduct this De-bushing Letsema Projects in line with the Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED).
This is an approach used in an attempt to try to reduce the potential opportunity for crime to persist and it also enhances easy detection and identification of criminals and criminal activities.
