MEC Motlhabane to rollout festive operations and welcome newly recruited traffic officers
Community Safety and Transport Management MEC, Dr Mpho Motlhabane will officially rollout the 2017 festive road safety operations and SAPS When Duty Calls to create a crime and incident free festive season in Bokone Bophirima.
The Departmental MEC will also welcome 20 newly recruited traffic officers who have recently completed their 12-months Road Safety Traffic Management course at the Traffic Training College in Mpumalanga.
Rolling out this year’s festive season plans to a Press Conference that is scheduled to take place at the Klerksdorp, MEC Motlhabane is expected to send out clear and strong messages to those who will find themselves on the wrong side of the law.
The newly officers will resume their duties in different traffic station across the Province.
Motlhabane will further release an official statement on the circulating video of a Provincial Traffic Officer who was allegedly assaulted by a motorist in Potchefsroom.
